Beliefs - Jesus Came

We all like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Isaiah 53:6

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23

More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
Romans 5:11

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:1

For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell...
Colossians 1:19

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit...
1 Peter 3:18

Jesus came to restore our relationship with God.

The Prophet Isaiah wrote, "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son" (Isaiah 7:14). Jesus fulfilled this prediction when He was born to Mary. He also fulfilled our need for God's love and forgiveness. Only a perfect man could bring salvation into a sinful world -- so God sent His Son.

When Jesus died on the cross, He did so as a substitute and perfect sacrifice for our sins. When He rose from the grave, He proved His identity and His authority over all things.

Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6). John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." In John 10:30, Jesus said, "I and the Father are one." 1 John 5:11-12 says, "God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life."
