Vine & Branches
September 10, 2023 - October 1, 2023
Jesus' description of the pruning, care and growth of the vine was a picture of what it would look like to follow and not follow Christ. Those who follow would be like the branches connected in the healthiest of ways to the vine. For that health to remain, there would be difficult moments necessary for greater health, but the vine would provide the support and assistance through it all. Those who don’t follow Christ will ultimately, by their own choosing, be forced to disconnect from the vine and be destroyed. But when we abide in Christ, when we stay connected to the vine, the refreshment and renewal of health is the seamless result. The logo for FCC is a symbol of our desire to individually and collectively abide in Christ, stay connected to the vine and experience fruitfulness. That picture is the display of love for the world to see.
