The gardener is there to make things work better and achieve peak growth. That’s his purpose. He’s not trying to get rid of anything good. He’s only there to make what’s good, even better. Jesus is the Vine, God the Father is the Gardener and we are the branches. You are the extension of the vine. You are the conduit to good fruit. But the gardener has to do what he does to make it all work best. A healthy vineyard is not an accident, but the work of a wise knowledgeable gardener. The result is good fruit.
