Wonderful Counselor

There is absolute truth and Jesus came to speak that truth, live that truth and share that truth with me and with you. And that truth is a good thing. What’s going on in your life where do you need to let God comfort you? What about the past, family, friends, addiction, the divorce, the turmoil. What’s going on where the wonderful counselor, the comforter can help?

Mightly God & Everlasting Father

As you grow and get to know him more and more and more, Jesus, the everlasting Father, has all kinds of different seasons and eras with you. But every step of the way, he’s seeking to provide for you. At times, it’s resources; at times, it’s protection; and at times, it’s discipline to help you be the best that you can be.

Jesus wasn’t just saying words in John 10:10 when he said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” Those are the words of the child who was born to us. Those are the words of your everlasting, who knows this world as far this way as that way. And who came to direct us and teach us to be the best version of who he made us to be.

Prince of Peace

Luke 2:13 understands that Shalom didn’t mean comfort and it didn’t mean something on the other side of the chaos and darkness. It was an interruption right in the middle of it all. In the middle of the disappointment and the brokenness. In the middle of the loss of control and the darkness of sin. When it seemed like the downward spiral would never end.
