Mission: Possible
Do you pray only when the heavy stuff hits or about the little things too? When do you pray–first thing in the morning or throughout the day? Do you ask for certain things to happen or for His will to be done? Do you thank Him for what He’s doing? Luke 5:16 tells us that Jesus often prayed. He knew its importance in His life and the lives of those around Him. He taught His disciples how to pray and why to pray. Shouldn’t prayer be as integral a part of your life as it was for Jesus and His disciples?
Unlocking the Abundant Life
Last words are significant. Coaches give final instructions before a game. Parents give final advice to a college bound child. Doctors give final directions before dismissing a patient. The words are chosen carefully. They have a purpose. When Jesus spoke for the last time to His followers, He included two words of instruction–“go” and “teach.” The words were clear when spoken. They apply today. The story of Jesus is good news the world needs to hear.
