The parable of the Prodigal Son is a powerful story demonstrating the Father’s love for us, and the attitude that those of us who are insiders should have when those who are separated from the Father come home. Within this story we also learn that God’s grace is bigger than our self-righteousness. It’s bigger than our sinfulness and all the Father has is ours.

The story of the Good Samaritan is a powerful story of mercy and compassion that forces us to look at ourselves and ask the following questions: Where is your heart? What is causing you to withhold mercy?
If your answers to those questions are less than stellar, do you have the courage to flip the script, do the unexpected, and live how Jesus taught us to live?
